This grammar book is the only French grammar book you will ever need, whatever French level you desire to reach. I have reviewed a great many number of them, and it is the best I’ve found by far.

Grammaire Progressive Perfectionnement
I recommend sticking to the same author (Maïa Grégoire) as the previous manuals. The clarity in these books is golden. This book is for advanced to fluent speakers who want to improve their understanding of certain structures. You can click on the book below to purchase it from Amazon.*
Vocabulaire progressif du français A1 – Débutant
This book necessitates to have some French basics. It gives excellent idioms and day to day vocabulary. I recommend to do the Grammaire Progressive du Français first, then go through this one.

W.T.F.! ? What The French
This book is not part of the required French course materials but is a must read if you are really curious how French behave. The book is written in English by Olivier Magny, a Frenchman; you’ll get loads of French expressions. As well, the author provides descriptive events as the French live today, without any sugar coating. You’ll experience French humor à gogo.
