Ils servent à montrer une personne, un animal ou une chose dont on parle.
Ce chien est un Dalmatien. Cet animal vient de la Dalmatie située principalement en Croatie. Cette région se trouve sur la côte est de la mer Adriatique.
Ces chiens ont un corps au carré avec une tête triangulaire. Ils sont d’un gabarit moyen, pesant de 24 à 32 kg et mesurent de 54 à 61 cm avec du poil court et tacheté. Ces taches plus ou moins rondes de 2 ou 3 cm de diamètre sont noires ou brunes.

Pour indiquer la proximité de ce que l’on parle, on utilise soit -ci pour désigner ce qui est le plus proche ou, -là pour attirer l’attention sur quelque chose de plus éloigné.

Les pronoms démonstratifs dirigent l’attention sur une personne, un animal ou un objet.
